BI Composites specialise in producing composite plastic mouldings in several forms. Composite mouldings are produced with combinations of distinctly different materials that when moulded together produce strong and durable components. The selection of these materials depends upon the application and the desired properties. Perhaps the most commonly known composite plastic is glass reinforced plastic i.e. GRP or fibreglass, but more sophisticated materials include SRIM, RTM and PU backed vacuum formed parts (see processes).
BI Composites also use materials such as carbon fibres and special glass weaves to produce high strength lightweight components. |
